  • Pac Choi: 1 piece

  • Cabbage: 1 piece

  • Turmeric: 0.1 pounds (1.6 oz)

  • Lettuce: 1 piece

  • Peppers: 0.75 pounds (12 oz)

Many of us are familiar with powdered turmeric, but this might be your first introduction to fresh turmeric. This is a great introduction to the rhizome. Pro tip: turmeric is highly pigmented (it has been used a dye for centuries), so be careful not to stain your kitchen while cooking.
