VEGETABLES

  • Peppers: 2 pieces

  • Tomatillo: 0.5 pounds (8 oz)

  • Carrots: 1.5 pounds (24 oz)

  • Watermelon: 1 piece

  • Mixed Melons: 1 piece

  • Lettuce: 2 pieces

  • Tomatoes: 1 pound (16 oz)

  • Squash: 2 pieces

It is sometimes difficult to your whole share in one week. The National Center for Home Food Preservation at the University of Georgia offers detailed instructions for canning, freezing, pickling and other storage methods.

This is my favorite way to use Italian Plums. Pro tip: you can use frozen plums. The cooked cake freezes and defrosts beautifully, too.
