Sharecast for June 21st, 2017

Here is a sharecast for our second distribution of the season. Pick up your vegetables in the Parish Hall of the Church of the Redeemer (30-14 Crescent Street near 30th Avenue). See below for details about what you can expect this evening. 

Here are a few notes before you get to the church this evening:

1. Distribution is from 5:30-8:00pm. You must be finished picking up your vegetables by 8pm. Please get to the church no later than 7:45pm.

2. PLEASE do not walk through the sanctuary when entering the church. Members should enter through one of the open red doors that lead directly to the parish hall.

3. Plan on bringing your own grocery bags to distribution each week. We do not provide bags or boxes for your veggies.

4. You and/or your share partners should have received an email confirming your volunteer assignments. If you did not receive that email -- or if you need change your volunteer schedule, please contact volunteer@harvestastoria.com.  You can also adjust your volunteer schedule directly on SignUp.com. The CSA is entirely run by volunteers and we count on all members to contribute over the course of the season.

Thanks to all our morning volunteers for unloading the vegetables and setting up the church. I look forward to seeing the rest of our members at the distribution this evening!

Register Now for 2017 Summer Season

Harvest Astoria CSA and Norwich Meadows Farm are already looking ahead to the 2017 harvest, and we are pleased to announce pricing for the Summer 2017 CSA season.  

Vegetable Shares:
$420 if paid before 4/30/2017

All prices include a $25 admin fee. This year’s share includes approximately 22 weeks of fresh, organic vegetables straight from Norwich Meadows Farm, NY, with options for fruit shares and add-ons such as organic dairy, free-range chicken and eggs, grass-fed beef and more. Fruit shares and additional products are now available. Complete and return this form to register.
 
Our distribution site is located on Crescent Street near 30th Avenue. Pick-up times are from 5:30 to 8 PM on Wednesdays starting in June and ending in November.

Harvest Astoria is a volunteer-run organization. We cannot function without gracious time commitments from each of our share-members. Each share is required to contribute a total 6 hours of volunteering at our distribution site, on Wednesday mornings or evenings.

We are allowing all members to register online or by mail this year. Please complete and return the member registration form listed below. Include payment with your completed registration form or pay online (additional fee applies).
