Harvest Astoria in the Community
Harvest Astoria offers financial assistance to members who meet certain income thresholds
If you make less than:
$64,000 annually for a household of 5,
$55,000 annually for a household of 4,
$46,000 annually for a household of 3,
$37,000 annually for a household of 2
You may qualify for monthly installment payments and a waived administrative fee. Additionally, only a $30 deposit is required to reserve you a share for this upcoming season. You may pay a larger deposit if you wish which will reduce your monthly installments.
Total Cost of share: $300
If you make less than:
$40,000 annually for a household of 5,
$34,000 annually for a household of 4,
$29,000 annually for a household of 3,
$23,000 annually for a household of 2
or a currently eligible for or are receiving SNAP benefits
You may qualify for installment payments, a waived administrative fee, and a reduced share cost. A $30 deposit is required to reserve your share for this upcoming season.
Total cost of share: $150
Currently we do not offer a discounted fruit plan nor add-ons.
**Please note that proof of income is required when you sign up for the plans. Please bring your most recent pay stub, a copy of your W-2 income tax return from 2009, an unemployment notice, statement of social security benefits, SNAP program card, or active Medicaid card (the document is for verification, it will be returned to you at sign-up).
Food Stamps:
Due to an administrative holdup we cannot guarantee that we will accept SNAP benefits this season (though we are working to do so!). We will accept your deposit at our signups and hold you a share for this upcoming season. Once we determine our SNAP status for this season we will contact you and you can either opt to maintain your share at the subsidized rate or we will refund your deposit in full.
