Sorry about last week's miss on the website. I added a little bit of news yesterday to (hopefully!) make up for being too busy to get it out to you in a timely manner. Also, as Mary mentioned in an email earlier today, we have been working on revamping a fun section of the website. Stay tuned!

Just a reminder that your Market Day orders and payments in full are due today at distribution. No late orders will be accepted. Only orders that are paid in full will be placed. The order form is attached. Please put your order form and check in an envelope and leave with the check-in volunteer. If you have questions, please contact Lloyd, our Add-Ons Coordinator, via email.

Sharecast, July 28, 2010 and IMPORTANT Note About Volunteer Shifts

REGARDING VOLUNTEER SHIFTS:

1) The delivery shift has been losing volunteers at an alarming rate.  THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT SHIFT OF THE DAY! We understand that life throws us unexpected curves, but please do everything you can to make it to your shifts, most especially the delivery shifts. Without volunteers in the morning, our CSA cannot exist. And it is not fair to the few members who do show up to have to double their shift time and work load when other people cancel. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE go to all lengths to not miss your shifts! If you are unsure about your shifts, we have the schedules posted on this page plus you can email our volunteer coordinator at any time for clarification.

2) We'd like to reiterate how important it is that add-ons items are being carefully distributed and thorough notes are being kept about any issues that arise at distribution. The failure to be thorough results in disappointed members of the CSA who are not receiving items they already paid for. Please make sure you discuss any add-on discrepancies with the core member on site at the end of the night. If you are doing the 4-6:30 shift, please make sure you pass along your information/notes to the person taking over your shift.
